Edward and Miriam Landesman Fund for Future Teachers in Math or Science

Gifts to the Edward and Miriam Landesman Fund for Future Teachers of Math or Science honor our longtime supporters and former UC Santa Cruz faculty members Ed and Miriam Landesman. The Cal Teach program uses this fund to reimburse prospective and early career teachers for expenses associated with becoming or being a teacher—expenses such as test fees and classroom equipment. The awards are typically small dollar amounts that can have a big impact for prospective and early career teachers.

How to request reimbursement

To request reimbursements for exams, professional development, or teaching/classroom supplies, with one application. A member of the Cal Teach staff will reach out to you with approval information and further details.
In order to guarantee timely reimbursements please complete this form and submit your original receipts to Cal Teach office.
