Kevin is an alumnus of UCSC where he earned his B.A. in Math Education, M.A. in Education, and single-subject teaching credential in math. He has taught math to middle school, high school, and college students in Santa Cruz County since 2011. Kevin is a co-director of MBAMP, the Monterey Bay Area Math Project, which provides professional development to teachers in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito counties. Formerly a print and web designer, he creates digital math games with an emphasis on classroom games that build community and discourse. Kevin teaches the Cal Teach Math Games course during spring quarter. He and his family love spending time outdoors in the ocean and redwoods, and of course playing games together.
